The threads as well as the natural fibers are stored in a
moisture-controlled room. This ensures the long-lasting quality and softness of the exclusive styles.
The individual pieces are cut either by hand with scissors or using the latest digital technology. This reduces material waste to a minimum. Unused cotton waste is collected and recycled.
Lace and embroidery for ladies' underwear and nightwear are cut into shape piece by piece by hand. Then the lace trimmings are stitched and sewn on in the finest detail - with a focus on perfection and quality down to the smallest detail. To create a shapely and long-lasting style, the appliqués are sewn on in zig-zag stitch and the contours are double reinforced.
Then as now, highly skilled employees with a wealth of experience are at work every day to hand-create the finest tops, T-shirts, pants and briefs in Switzerland. This is what the brand has embodied for over 150 years: Zimmerli of Switzerland combines tradition and modernity.
In the final step, Zimmerli styles are labeled.
To ensure impeccable quality, each style is measured by hand by a seamstress before being ironed, packed and shipped from Switzerland to consumers around the globe.
